## Description

edgeset generates a list containing element edge identifiers, name specifying the name of the element set (a string not exceeding 40 characters). Element edge identifiers are composed of pairs of element edge number (see Element Naming and Numbering Conventions) and element identifier. The list can then be assigned to i.e. boundary conditions or it can be processed in the post-processor.

Edge sets alway store the entries of the list in ascending order. Duplicate entries in the set are not admitted or eliminated. Thus, in contrast to edge lists, the position of an entry in an edge set has no meaning.

## Attributes

branch br

Specifies the branch number to which subsequently defined edge identifiers will be assigned The default branch is 1. br remains active until a new branch number is specified or end is encountered.

e1 .. e12

Edge identifier as defined in Element Naming and Numbering Conventions. The default element edge identifier is 1.

edgeset id

Copies all edge identifiers found in the already defined edge set id to the current edge set.

edgelist id

Copies all edge identifiers found in the already defined edge list id to the current edge set.

epatch ide1-e12

end
